Clarus Group in Action

Clarus Group Volunteer Programs

The heart of Clarus Group lies in our service to others, and that goes beyond the workplace. We are dedicated to pulling our team together and serving our communities in various ways. We have experienced the impact that our service has had on our community and our employees. The culture of our organization gives back to the community, practices social responsibility, and emphasizes the work/life balance. Part of the Clarus Group mission is to promote an inclusive workplace and involvement in the local community. We want our employees to know they are a key part of the Clarus team – not just a consulting company. We believe that each person can make a difference. There are many ways we can give back. We can donate money, time, skills and experience. We all have personal lives that take up a lot of our time outside the office, but even small initiatives can make a big difference if we work as a team. These are just a few of the ways that we as a team do our best to serve our community and continue to promote a sense of unity within the company.

Relay For Life

We are proud supporters of the American Cancer Society and have attended the Olathe Relay for Life Event as a team since 2011.  The event is an all-night event, starting at 6pm on a Friday evening and continues to 6am on Saturday. Someone from each team continuously walks or runs round a track and participates in numerous fun activities.

Parks and Recs Beautification

Anytime the Clarus Group has a chance to get outdoors and spend time in nature they jump at the opportunity. The Overland Park Clarus Team has volunteered for the Johnson County Parks and Recreation Spring Stream Clean Up by helping remove litter and any debris from and around the stream. They have also helped clean up trash and garbage for the Shawnee Mission Park.

The Clarus Team is an enthusiastic supporter of the Harvesters Community Food Network. Harvesters serves 26 county areas in northwestern Missouri and northeastern Kansas. They provide food, meals, and household products to homeless shelters and food pantries. They also provide weekend “Snack Pack Programs,” and courses on nutritional education and hunger awareness. The Clarus team does not only include employee volunteers, but also family members and friends that want to get involved in the strike against hunger.

Salvation Army Adoption Program: Seniors and Families

2014 was the first year Clarus teamed up with the Salvation Army to adopt a family in need and 5 seniors in need during the Christmas season. Everyone from our consultants to our corporate staff rallied together to make the Christmas season a special one for the adopted family and seniors. We were able to raise funds at our Kansas City Holiday Happy Hour, each corporate staff member donated their own time and money, and the COO helped us put the final bow on our donation.

2015 Dream Factory Sponsor

Clarus Group is a proud sponsor of the 2015 KC Dream Factory Gala. The event will showcase the 30 years of Dream fulfillment and children’s smiles over the last 30 years. They are the second largest children’s wish-granting organization in the United States and “we grant dreams to critically and chronically ill children from the ages of three through eighteen.” The Dream Factory began in 1980, and over the last 30 year has grown to include 38 local chapters, has over 5,000 volunteers, and has made over 5,000 dreams come true.
